This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hadn't scrawled anything here in a very long time. Just hadn't had a lot to say that I felt moved to put down in a coherent way. I suppose I could do an impromptu update of sorts.
I'm finally getting around to catching up on a bunch of stuff that I let slide for way too long while putting out the little fires that seem to pop up and throw plans into disarray. Will be a load off my mind to get it all done and out the door.
Let's see.... second book is out, so there's no need to go over that.
Comic-Con is coming up. The plan is to get my ass to San Diego. Beyond that, things with regard to attending other events is totally up in the air. Might make it to some...might not. Kinda bummed about missing Erotica L.A., but that's water under the proverbial bridge. C'est la vie.
I'm on Facebook and Twitter and all that time-wasting strangeness. I don't expect I'll be updating to let folks know every time I take a shit. The thing that trips me out is that somebody might actually wanna know that. People are such strange creatures.
Guess I should thank people for all the fav's collectively. I just can't respond individually. I'd never get anything done if I tried to.
While I'm appreciative of that fact that people follow what I do, to be perfectly honest I'm a little ambivalent. On the one hand, it's cool to get the attaboys and all that, but on the other, I've been neglecting my sites so a bit of reordering of priorities strikes me as being apropos. To that end, I'm going to start by pulling pieces from my Deviant gallery. Thought about bailing altogether, but I just renewed the subscription so I may as well ride it out. I've already cut a few groups loose. Just wasn't coming out to my advantage when subjected to a cost/benefit analysis. Might be that symptoms of Cranky Artist Syndrome may be flaring up (as it does from time to time)making me do it but I don't think so. This art thing ain't just some feelgood exercise for the sake of feeding my ego. I like to think I've evolved a bit beyond that.
I do get a little annoyed, however, when I see a shitload of stuff of mine fav'd without so much as a howdydo. Kinda leaves me with a feeling much akin to going to the fridge only to find that your roomie drank all the orange juice and left the empty carton. I can understand to point that people want cool images for their erstwhile collections. Only thing is I keep seeing my work popping up all over the net, festooned with crappy "showing some luv" text or butchered and turned into really shitty animated gifs. With the fuckin' watermark still there, no less. Needless to say, it pisses me off. Mightily.
Damn... I promised myself I wasn't gonna rant. Oh well...my spleen has vented. Guess I'll go back to drawin' stuff. I'll do another one of these when I think of something to say. Might be a while, though.
Kelly Shibari took some time to hang out at RamStar World Headquarters. Definitely made for the best Sunday afternoon I'd had in quite some time. Gawd I love this art stuff.

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know (like everyone else seems to...) that your work is incredible!
Awesome bodies, expressions, colors, the whole nine yards.
Hope you continue to at least keep your deviantart account as it is for a good while at least. It can be fustrating getting "adds and runs", (which I'm also guilty of), but this place is still a great way to keep fans up to date on your new stuff, and expose those who don't know of you to your work.
Your work puts a huge smile on my face -- about as big a smile as Anonymity 3's Triple D's! Your gallery is so cool it should be used to combat Global Warming. To paraphrase R. Crumb's famous one-page comic (which was, of course, a riff on a Blind Boy Fuller song) "Keep on Drawin..'"
